Even though we have had a relatively mild winter I can't wait for spring to come. I painted this on location early in the morning in late summer and finished it in the studio a couple of weeks ago. The leaves were just deciding to turn. The beach roses were still in bloom, but you can kind of feel that the weather will change soon.
