This Past Winter

This past winter was a winter to remember. We had over 80" of snow. The lobstermen had a tough time of it. When I painted this at Murray Hill Landing the piles of snow went right to the water. I doubt the lobstermen went out that day.
I was intrigued by the purple shadows in the snow.
