I actually saw and painted these clouds on a beautiful pristine day at Fisherman's Island. How could I not paint them! I could see Ocean Point in the distance and yes there was even that Windjammer going by. When we returned to shore the heavens opened and the rain came down. We were so lucky we were not still on the water. What a wonderful day it was. Plein Air painting at its best.
