Monet Painted Haystacks + I Paint Grimes Cove

Asters + Goldenrod Time

$900  SOLD

I never tire of painting Grimes Cove. Each season brings it's own beauty. This time it was the Goldenrod growing right out of the rocks beside the ocean. The Asters were bluish and acted as a complement to the yellow Goldenrod. I painted this en plein air in September, studied it for a long time and finally tweaked it and finished it last week. What a rewarding experience. I am sure I shall paint Grimes Cove many many times again.
