Taking Advantage of a Warmer Day
Boothbay Harbor Light
9" x 12"
Oil on oil-primed linen mounted on board
$800 SOLD
Last week we had a warmer day than we have had for a long time. So naturally plein air painting was on my agenda. It was still chilly, but it was exhilarating to be painting outdoors again. This view of Boothbay Harbor was painted from the Tugboat Inn parking lot. The light was streaming onto the church. A beacon to all. The boats had their sails down because it w as windy. I could see purples and reds in the ocean. What a day!
