Painting in fog is challenging. The foreground is clear and the background keeps appearing and disappearing. When I started this painting at Ocean Point I could not even see the lobster boat. By the time I was almost finished the boat was beginning to appear so I quickly painted it in before the fog changed again. I so like painting in fog!!!
