It was a cold morning. The sky was just magnificent. The clouds were sweeping across the sky and there was a hint of the new day dawning over Fisherman's Island. I had to paint this real fast before things changed. I am happiest painting outside, but it has been a challenging winter plein air-wise. I am so happy it is spring!
