Painting the Outside from Inside

The last thing you want to think about is snow when spring is on its way, but I wanted to remind you of the blizzard  and how beautiful it was after it ended. I painted this from my sunroom. It was freezing outside but I was warm and cozy inside. I think I can still call it a plein air painting though. The trick here was to get the planes the right temperature, the flat plane reflecting the warm sun and the upright planes cool. I thoroughly enjoyed doing this painting.
