BOOTHBAY SHORES

Any day I paint at Boothbay Shores is a special day. When Shore Road at Ocean Point has a lot of people milling around I head over to Boothbay Shores. It is quiet and not too many people have discovered it yet. The wild mustard was in bloom and the seaweed was hugging the shore. I wanted to convey a sense of peace so I chose a subdued palette.

A Quiet Day at Boothbay Shores.
