FEBRUARY

Harbor Island is one of the first sites you see when you come into Boothbay Harbor by boat.  I decided this was what I wanted to paint. It was a cold day at the end of February, but a couple of my friends and I were undaunted so out we went. We were atop the hill overlooking the harbor and island. You have to paint mighty fast before the weather tells you it's time to go.  Ahhh.... the pleasures of plein air painting!
